Training Overview:

Who is this course for? The course is for any staff or volunteers who need to know more about Universal Credit in order to support their clients and service users. This course is a 3-hour introduction, delivered via Zoom.
 Aim The e-training will provide a good introduction to the rules of entitlement and the core elements that are payable in specific circumstances. It will also cover how to claim, and where to get further help and advice.
 Objectives Following completion of the training delegates will have an increased understanding of:
  • Who might be entitled to Universal Credit
  • How to progress a claim for Universal Credit
  • How much financial support does Universal Credit provide?
  • How Rent Support works in Universal Credit
  • How payments may differ if you are a Carer or are unable to work due to illness or disability

 Course cost  £40 or limited funded places for eligible organisations
 Date  Tuesday the 3rd of October 2023
 Time 1000 - 1300 (3 hours)
